On 02/26/13, detectives from the Eureka Police Department
Problem Oriented Policing Unit (POP) conducted a probation
search at a motel in the 2400 block of Broadway in Eureka.
During a search of the room, detectives located approximately 18 ½ lbs of processed and partially processed marijuana bud and over $9,000 in cash.
As a result of the investigation, Jonas (Randall) Semore was arrested and transported to the Humboldt County Correctional Facility where he was booked for:
- Possession of Marijuana for Sale, and
- Maintaining a Space for Narcotic Activity
Additionally, Semore, age 40, is a validated member of a street gang and has multiple prior contacts with EPD over the years.
Anyone with information concerning suspected drug activity, or other nuisances occurring in the City of Eureka is encouraged to call the Problem Oriented Policing Unit at (707) 441-4373, EPD noted.

We wonder why his Probation Officer wasn’t conducting the probation search?
His girlfriend, Rachael Squire-Hardy, was busted on Friday. Perhaps she sang like a canary.

It wont be the last time we see an arrest story on this one. I’m guessing 6-months we’ll find out he’s being booked for some new felony while under supervised arrest. It seems that all we can hope for anymore is that his next victim-s is/ are his own kind. I also have to mention again that pot is the only reason losers like this come to our area or remain here.So the next time somebody tells you how important pot is to our community remember his face.
